ROW DTLA
In what used to be the location of American Apparel has turned into a
huge multi-use compound with stores, restaurants, galleries and residences.
This graphic is painted on a ten story parking structure
built for the renovation.
After several design changed it was decided to have a stipple effect. Given the scale of the project I had to devise a method to apply the stipple in a timely fashion.
To attempt this with brushes would have taken an enormous amount of time so I created a stippling roller.
The project took seven days.
I send out thanks to Paul and Renee at Signimage for facilitating this project and to Flux Branding for their design assistance.
